2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia

Trim Levels (Exterior)

The Alfa Romeo Giulia has been on the American market for three years, and the 2019 Giuilia offers the same sleek elegance that lovers of the Italian brand have come to know, but with a few key updates. Read on for the features of the next generation of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the car named MotorTrend Car of the Year in 2018.

The 2019 Giulia comes in three available trims: the base, available in all-wheel and rear-wheel drive, the Ti, and the top-end Quadrifoglio. Each trim comes with several packages to add on. For those who want to darken things up, the Nero Edizione package for all trims includes dark detailing in the headlight bezels, window surrounds, and more. The Ti Sport Carbon Package is available for those who prefer a sportier look.

The base AWD trim has the option to add the cold weather package, which adds heated front seats, a heater steering wheel, and washer nozzles. The Quadrifoglio, which comes with much of the above as standard features, can be enhanced with the Exterior Carbon Fiber Package. This adds carbon fiber exterior mirrors, a scudetto grille, and dark miron badging.

Engine (Power)

The 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia base and Giulia Ti models come equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Intercooled Turbo Premium Unleaded 1-4 engine, which gets 280 horsepower at 5,200 revolutions per minute and 306 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 revolutions per minute. The top-end Giulia Quadrifoglio has a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 engine that gets 505 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. All Giulias have an eight-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and auto-manual mode as standard. The base Giulia comes in both AWD and RWD configurations, while the Giulia Ti and Giulia Quadrifoglio trims are only available in AWD.

All AWD models of the 2019 Giulia are equipped with Alfa Romeo's Q4 AWD system, transferring up to 60 percent of the engine's torque to the front axle to provide improved traction in all conditions. The base model has a top speed of 149 miles per hour and goes from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds. The 2019 Giulia also comes with the Chassis Domain Control system, which continuously monitors all active systems for an enhanced performance.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia comfortably seats five people. The leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel, as well as dual-zone air conditioning, make for a pleasant drive. Optional interior extras such as heated front and rear seats and a heated steering wheel can be added for your comfort. You can also add adaptive cruise control. The Giulia has you covered in terms of entertainment as well, with smart-device integration, AM/FM radio, auxiliary sound input, and a built-in MP3 player. If that's not enough, you also have the option of adding satellite radio, high-definition radio, and a premium sound system.

Safety Features

The standard Alfa Romeo Giulia comes with safety features including a comprehensive air bag system, brake assist, electronic stability control, and traction control. For added safety, you can add a blind-spot monitor, lane-departure warning, and cross-traffic alert. The car comes fitted with child-safety locks, as well.
